Thank you for visiting Ahimsa Healing! My name is Sheeba and I am an Energy Healer, Meditation & Breath-Work Guide and perpetual student of the healing arts.

Specifically, I am an Usui Reiki Master / Teacher and trained in Ayurvedic healing, Chakra Balancing, Crystal Healing, Eden Method, Medical Qi Gong and Spinal Flow.
All available to you in Pennington, New Jersey and remotely.

Where it all began…

As the daughter of a Hospital Physician and a Healthcare Entrepreneur, my childhood was immersed in the world of both traditional medicine and natural medicine (through ancient Ayurvedic and home remedies passed down through my family over the ages). This exposure planted the seeds for what would grow into my passion and purpose in life, helping others heal.

My parents were Punjabi immigrants to London, England, and I am deeply proud of, and grateful for, my rich cultural and spiritual inheritance. However, the material comforts and educational opportunities afforded to me were accompanied by frequent moments of hurtful discrimination, racism and sexism. I grew up having to navigate a western society with my roots in a traditional eastern culture and I struggled to carve out my own identity under the weight and pressure to avoid any failure, at risk of social shame. This is commonplace within Asian communities.

After University I was hired by Johnson & Johnson and graduated from their world-renowned Surgical Training Institute in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA under the training of Dr. Aaron Ruhalter.  After an exciting 5-year’s delivering surgical innovations to market, and providing hands-on training to nurses and surgeons, my experience was abruptly cut short as I was involved in an accident that fractured my spine. After a lengthy recovery period, I transitioned into a two-decade long successful career in Corporate Consulting, serving Fortune 100 companies in Pharma and Life Science. I also went on to achieve a MS in Regulatory Affairs/Quality Assurance and a PMP certification.

On paper by all accounts, I was successful however, on a personal level I was struggling. I was in a marriage that was falling apart and I felt deeply misunderstood.  I was exhausted and felt ‘trapped’ in my life.  Everything came to a head in 2010 and over the course of a number of months, I experienced what is referred to in the spiritual community as the ‘dark night of my soul’.  This was the lowest point in my life for numerous physical, mental and emotional reasons.

This is the point where energy healing found me…

When Energy Healing arrived…

In 2011 the gift of healing revealed itself in an unusual way. All of a sudden, my hands started to literally heat up from the inside and I had no idea what was going on.  Fast forward, and the Universe convened to present me with opportunities to align with my life purpose. Since that point, I have been struck with a passionate urgency to learn anything and everything about energy healing. I also discovered that I am an Empath and all of the ‘dots connected’ – my toxic work environment that was making me ill, my perpetual urge to want to help others and keep giving of myself, my apparent moodiness based on those around me.  I wish I had known then, what I know now.

Then in 2018, I made a silent commitment to my passion, I was going to devote my life to helping others heal and by the beginning of 2019, the life I knew before dissolved in a matter of months without much effort on my part, leading me to a new chapter and to people who supported my new direction.

I’m so thankful for my 25-year odyssey among the very best organizations the modern healthcare industry has to offer the world, because it provided me both a thorough understanding of the inner workings of these commercial machines as well as frequent reminders of the healthcare system’s shortcomings, especially where patient care is concerned. However, my foremost takeaway was this simple truth: The present healthcare delivery model is NOT designed to reward the promotion of actual holistic health outcomes and living a healthy life physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

The lessons learned over 25-years in the healthcare industry, combined with taking my first steps to finally confront my own emotional scars, traumas and shadows, jump started my immersion into holistic healing methods. I have had the great privilege to study under many world-renowned and distinguished teachers of Energy Healing, Ayurveda, Qi Gong and Meditation. However, the greatest lessons I have learned, by far, have come from the hundreds of patients who have honored me with their trust to work with their energies, to walk with them for a while on their paths to a healthier and happier life, to hold space for them in their most trying moments and to share in their moments of joy.

To everyone I have met along this journey, I carry heartfelt gratitude for you. And to those I have yet to meet, I cannot wait.
